Role of a Reiki Therapist

Role of a Reiki Therapist

All of us have an innate ability/power to heal ourselves. When we have a physical ailment or a mental upset, we get out of touch with this ability. The role of a Reiki therapist is to act as a conduit and reactivate this ability in the recipient. Therefore the real healer is the recipient himself/herself and the therapist is merely a channel that facilitates the healing. A recipient will take as much energy as is required and hence a therapist should not get attached to the results.

A Reiki therapist is not a Doctor, he/she is a healer. Reiki is not a substitute for medication and one must ensure that recipient gets proper medical attention. If surgery is inevitable Reiki helps in healing he post surgery cases. In fact Reiki along with the medication can give you results much faster and easier.

There are two basic requirements for Reiki to flow-

1.   THE THERAPIST SHOULD BE IN A STATE OF GRATITUDE.

2.   THE PATIENT SHOULD BE WILLING TO BE HEALED.

How Reiki Works

How Reiki Works

Now it is very clear that the flow of energy is very important. If the energy or the life force is low or restricted means you are prone to get illness. It all depends that where that energy is blocked and accordingly you will have its repercussions in the form of illness. Now a Reiki healer has the power to channelize your energy and unblocks the energy blockade and thus your illness will go away. It works on the physical, as well as the mental or the spiritual level.

Reiki can be given or transferred through a touch (Physical touch between a Therapist and the patient) or can be given through the universe (distance Reiki) from one place to any other place in the world. In both the cases you need an authorized person who can do that or must be a properly learned Reiki healer.

Reiki- Energy Centers or Chakras

Energy Centers or the Chakras

Chakras or the energy centers are very important parts of the bioplasmic body. Just as the visible physical body has vital and minor organs, the bioplasmic body has major, minor, and mini chakras. Major Chakras are the whirling energy centers which are about three or four inches in diameter. They control and energize the major and vital organs of the visible physical body. Major Chakras are just like power stations that supply energy to major and vital organs. When the power station malfunctions, the vital organs become sick or diseased because they do not have enough vital energy to operate properly.

They have several other important functions as follows-

  1. They absorb, digest and distribute prana to the different parts of the body.
  2. The chakras control, energize and are responsible for the proper functioning of the whole physical body and its different parts and organs. The endocrine glands are controlled and energized by some of the major chakras. A lot of ailments are caused partially by the malfunctioning of the chakras.
  3. Some chakras are the sites or centers of the psychic faculties. Activation of certain chakras may result in the development of certain psychic faculties.

There are seven chakras which regulates all the energy in the body. They are (from top to bottom)-

7. Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

6. Third eye Chakra (Ajna)

5. Throat Chakra (Vishudda)

4. Heart Chakra (Anahata)

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)

2. Hara Chakra (Svadhistana)

1. Root Chakra (Muladhara)

Proper balancing and proper flow of energy in these chakras is the result of a healthy body.

Meaning of Reiki

Meaning of Reiki

Rei means Universal. This definition has been accepted by most of the Cultures. So, while it is true that Rei can be interpreted as universal, it simply means that it is present everywhere and around us.

Ki means the same as Chi in Chinese, Prana in Sanskrit and Mana in Hawaiian. It has been given many names by various cultures that have been aware of it. Ki is the life force. It is also called the vital force or the universal life force.

This is the non physical energy that animates all living things. As long as something is alive, it has life force circulating through it and surrounding it, when it dies the life force departs. If your life force is low, or if there is restriction in its flow, you will be more vulnerable to illness. When it is high and flowing freely, you are less likely to be sick. Life force plays an important role in everything we do. It animates the body and also is the Primary energy of our emotions thoughts and spiritual life.

Reiki- History of Reiki

History of Reiki

Reiki (Pronounced as ray-key) is a thousand year old healing technique. It is believed to have originated as a Tibetan Buddhist practice that was rediscovered in the late 1800’s by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist.

The story of Mikao Usui, a search for the secret knowledge has been spoken many times by grand master Hawayo Takata. He tells when Usui was teaching in Kyoto, Japan. One day several of his students asked, had he heard of anyone who was able to demonstrate the healing methods used by Jesus or God? Usui was unable to answer.

He then decided to take leave from teaching to travel and learn Christianity in a Christian Country. His search led him to America and to the University of Chicago where he earned a Doctorate in Theology. However, he did not find any answer in Christian writings regarding hands on healing methods.

He later came to India where he did research on old Buddhist Sanskrit Sutras. These Sanskrit Sutras seem to contain the answers to his search. With this new research he came back to Japan.

It was that time that he decided to embark on a ritual so as to have the answers revealed to him. Usui chose to travel to the holy mountain of Koriyama. It was here that he took upon to meditate and fast for 21 days.

As he climbed the mountain he took with him the sutras and 21 stones. As the day ended he would discard one of the stones and read the sutras, as well as sing and meditate. Nothing out of ordinary would occur, until the last day, when in the morning of the 21st day he saw a shining light moving towards him at a great speed.  It hit him in the center of his forehead.  From this great white light he saw symbols covered in transparent bubbles floating in front of him. This was the birth of the Usui System of Reiki as shown to him from the Sutras.

When he returned to a normal state of consciousness, he felt in him a high state of strength and energy. He began his descend from the mountain. As he journeyed down he stubbed his toe. Instinctively he grabbed his toe with both hands and felt immersed heat. Within minutes the bleeding stopped and the pain disappeared. This was the first miracle of Reiki.

Waist Size

Please note the the size of your waist is exactly the double of your neck size. So next time when you are going for some shopping and the trial room facility is not there just check with your neck size.

Its very simple button and zip the trouser and hold it from corner to corner (means waist is half and wrap it around your neck if both the ends touches comfortably then it is perfect if it is overlapping means it is loose and if it is not touching means its tight for you.

I promise you it will definitely going to work…….

Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis: is an infectious bacterial disease caused by Mycobacterium strains. The bacterium primarily attacks the lungs (pulmonary TB) but is effective in attacking any other part (extra-pulmonary TB) of the body as well. The infection is spread through droplet (sneezing, coughing).  TB is difficult to diagnose as mostly the patients remain asymptomatic and this state is known as latent tuberculosis. However, the symptoms of the active TB cases are chronic cough, sputum with blood, fever and weight loss. Diagnosis of TB is done through chest X-ray, microscopic examination, culture and molecular tests.  Treatment of TB is difficult and needs a long term medication.  Mantoux tuberculin skin test is useful in screening the people at high risk of infection. Detection and treatment of active TB case is important for prevention of spread of TB infection. The currently available BCG vaccine for TB is effective in childhood, but the immunity decreases after 10 years.
